The BEYOND THE CLUTTER is going to bring you both a renewed focus and a plan of action. It is your guide to help you get back on track, without feeling overwhelmed. Each of the three modules contain a video, detailed instructions, and a worksheet.

MODULE 1:   PERSONAL INVENTORY (The C.H.A.T. System)
MODULE 2:  OBSTACLES
MODULE 3:  PLAN OF ACTION

Print the three worksheets now that are included in this section (i.e. Personal Inventory, Obstacles, and Plan of Action). Have the worksheet next to you that is associated with the section you are working in. This will help you better understand the process as you read through that module's instructions. (Remember, as part of your purchase, you have unlimited access to copy the worksheets as often as you'd like.)

As you move through the course, you will notice I've included “checkpoints” along the way to make sure that you have completed each section properly.

In the Bonus section, I've included three helpful, downloadable resources to boost your success in regaining your focus and action.
  • The first (8 Practical Tips) is a list of my favorite tips and tricks. Some of the tips are practical in nature, while others are intended to challenge your mindset, a common cause of “stuckness.”
  • The second (Mind Clutter) solely addresses your mindset. It identifies types of mind clutter (i.e. what is often the source of our overwhelm).
  • The third (10 Powerful Questions to Declutter Your Life) will help you think through what to keep and what to toss as you tackle different areas of your life. When you get stuck, refer to these for extra support.

Although you could blitz this course in about an hour, pace yourself. Move through it as you have capacity. The more thought you give to it, the more benefit you will receive from it.

A quick inspection is better than no inspection at all. Yet, a thorough examination, like you’d expect from an attentive doctor, will allow you to see beyond the symptoms and bring you closer to revealing the source of your overwhelm.

Find a time and place that is comfortable and free from distractions. If you think more clearly by actually being away from your home, find a favorite place that rejuvenates you. If life circumstance or personal preference invites you to stay in your home, choose not to answer the phone or attend other things during this time. Creating physical and mental space to engage with this course is critical. This is your first opportunity to practice distraction-free focus.
